In the retrofit of this mini 400 sq ft one-bedroom apartment, the idea was to design a minimal space that maximized openness and natural light while being kitted with a very ambitious wish list:  a dining table with two chairs, two separate studies, a walk in library, a swing and lots of storage. The centerpiece of the living space is a compact, multi-functional carpentry unit which transforms from a library and storage into a dining table and home office/study.
